Working together, Dillon gets Spidey to the advanced technology room to activate the coolant systems to prevent the generator from overheating and exploding, while he gets the hostages out of the building through Stairwell C. He then takes a picture of the initials and alerts the police about it. He tracks Carradine using the city's radio transmissions and after finding him selling guns to a thug, Spider-Man webs up the thug, and saves a hostage from Carradine's henchmen in a car chase, only to discover him dead after finding him in a alley, with the killer's signature written in blood on the left wall reading "CK". Frustrated, Peter then follows a lead on Dennis Carradine, who is suspected to be the man who killed Uncle Ben.
Spidey heads to the construction site downtown and defeats Schultz's men, and almost has Schultz until he manages to escape.
He reveals he got them from Herman Schultz, and that they're arming up for an upcoming gang war between them and the Russians. After being attacked by a gang thanks to Felicia Hardy (whom he locked up in the previous game, Spider-Man manages to make the ringleader tell him where he got his weapons.
Skipping ahead two years later, Spider-Man is out on patrol now searching for the killer. Peter investigates and to his horror discovers Uncle Ben lying on the ground bleeding, where he eventually dies. He begins walking home when he hears someone cry for help and a gunshot sounds off. The cashier asks for Peter's help but Peter says "not my problem" and walks away. The game begins with Peter Parker having a flashback of him drinking a bottle of chocolate milk when a burglar raids a store. It was unveiled during the 2013 New York Comic Con. The Xbox One version was going to be delayed, but was released alongside the other platforms digitally while the release of physical copies was delayed by two weeks. It was released on in Europe, and Apin Australia.
